Owls are birds of prey. There are 200 owl species. Most are solitary, and nocturnal, with some exceptions. Owls mostly hunt small mammals, insects, and other birds, though a few species specialize in hunting fish. They are found on all continents except Antarctica.
Though the owl is typically solitary bird, a group of owls is known as a parliament. Over the years, and through different cultures, the owl has been associated with wisdom, death, wealth, evil and an icon of worship. Our owls are not evil nor an object of worship, but they are enjoyable additions to enhance the beauty of your home!
